I’ve been intensely busy getting ready for my first BEA visit (Book Expo America). This is the biggest book fair in the US, an event mainly for the industry but with various free events around the city too. My publicity department contact sent my schedule yesterday.
Everyone at my publisher’s is so organized. I love them and I don’t even know them yet.
From the moment a limo picks me up from my front door, to the meetings and lunches and parties, this is going to be quite a ride. I can’t wait to meet these hard-working, brilliant people. And the other authors. What a treat.
If this is a dream, I want to sleep forever.
