I’ll be with three other YA authors (all are also dipping into adult). You don’t want to miss meeting A.S. King (Dig, winner of the Printz Award), Jeff Garvin (I blurbed his brilliant Symptoms of Being Human), and Val Emmich (NYT bestselling author of Dear Evan Hansen). What’s unusual is that these last two happen to both be ex-TV actors and very talented musicians as well as YA authors.
The Back Room format starts with questions the host draws from cards, different for each author so it’s breezy and fun. For the second part, the audience is put into one of four virtual rooms and each author visits the room to meet you, answer any questions about writing, books, tv, or just chat with you. Everyone gets to meet all four authors. I can’t wait to meet you and am really excited about you meeting my superstar panelists. I know A.S. King and Jeff, and they are the nicest people, and I’m really looking forward to meeting Val.
